- Offers a variety of shapes including Rod, U, W, Single Spiral, and
Double Spiral shapes to fulfill diverse requirements.
- Comes in a large size range.
- Produces a high heat output per unit surface area.
Silicon Carbide Heater Application:
It has broad applications, being widely used as sintering and
heating elements in ceramics, magnets, glass, metallurgy,
refractories, and other related fields.
There are two different types of 3-phase elements: SGC (Dumbbell)
and SGD(Standard). These elements are self-bonded silicon carbide
formed through the re-crystallization of silicon carbide at high
temperature. Comprising three high-purity silicon carbide rods
connected at one end by a silicon carbide crossbar, the SGC
elements are specifically designed for vertical installation in
standard float glass baths, while the SGD elements are for
horizontal installation. They can be directly connected to a
three-phase power supply and are of a one-side terminal type,
enabling the terminals to be drawn out from the roof of the
furnace.
